Horsham Big Nibble trail All posts

Taster plate at Horsham Big Nibble eventFoodies heading to Horsham on Sunday 4th September 2011 can follow a town centre ‘Nibble Trail’ between 2pm - 4pm. Five free taster samples include artisan breads, homemade cake, goat’s cheese & caramelised onion burgers.  Although the Nibble Trail is a limited offer (for details see the downloadable programme ) Horsham’s local produce market has more treats in store including:

  • Deli-Welli-Doo-Daaa - pastries and cakes and, hopefully, chilli ice cream - apparently it's the hottest in the world
  • Noky’s Thai Kitchen - a selection including spring rolls, spicy sauces and noodles
  • Connoisseur Coffee - a selection of ground, flavoured coffee and cakes
  • Sussex Faire - homemade scones with Sussex Faire's jam with cream and also pates and chutneys
  • Wimblehurst Chocolates - a trio of beautiful handmade chocolates and jellies
  • Mopani Trading - South African foods produced here in Sussex including Biltong, Boerewors and Braai meats.

Dark Star BeersWith all this good food sampling a fine brew would be in order. The Horsham beer trail features ten pubs and bars serving the best local beers. Sponsored by Piries Bar, participants set off with a mini-tankard and programme (included in the price), sampling real ales and all for the princely sum of £1.

The Nibble Trail  forms part of The Big Nibble – A Slice of Sussex event in Horsham, launching the month long Horsham District Food & Drink Festival.
