Borde Hill Garden gears up for the August Bank Holiday weekend
The last Musical Sunday session is on the 25th of August with a pianist playing jazz providing a chance to relax and enjoy the sound and Borde Hill's scenery with a picnic and all the family.
On Bank Holiday Monday, 26th of August, Borde Hill hosts the Teddy Bears Picnic. Children can dress up their teddy bear and enter the 'Best Dressed' teddy bear competition. There will be story telling with Teddy bears related stories, a music area with rugs and cushions and a box of percussion instrument to be used by kids and their parents (all day long). Pack a picnic, bring teddy and have some fun.
On Tuesday 27th August is Storytelling with a plant hunting theme and on Thursday 29th August is Animazing. An interactive and educational Nature Trail is available everyday for children to complete. The trail leads around the Garden looking for clues. There's an adventure playground set in sprawling parkland and landscaped lakes with a host of pondlife to explore.
Borde Hill is a dog-friendly attraction and welcomes canine friends on leads. Ball-games and barbeques are allowed in the parkland.
