Carnaby Street is the fabulous new musical that will transform Theatre Royal Brighton's stage to London’s West End in the swinging sixties; its iconic clubs, trendy fashions and eccentric characters.
Carnaby Street tells the story of Jude, a working class boy from Liverpool, new in town and armed with nothing but his guitar and his dreams of fame and fortune. Join us and follow the passion and heartbreak of his journey in pursuit of stardom at a time full of hope and freedom, when the world is changing and anything seems possible.
From the director of Blood Brothers and Dreamboats and Petticoats and designer of La Cage Aux Folles. This fabulous production is jam packed with over 30 classic hits from the time, including Roll Over Beethoven, Do Wah Diddy Diddy, Twist and Shout, Son of a Preacher Man, Sweets for my Sweet, Mustang Sally and Downtown.
We are thrilled to announce the cast with a whole host of West End and theatre credits including Jonny Bower (Buddy UK tour), Aaron Sidwell (EastEnders, Loserville) Aimie Atkinson (Dirty Dancing UK tour), Tricia Adele Turner (Legally Blonde), Paul Hazel (Avenue Q) James Winter (Les Misérable), Jill Cardo (A Chorus of Disapproval), Katia Sartini (Dancing Queen UK tour) and Rachel Nottingham (Dreamboats and Petticoats).
