The popular Festival of Harbour Walks returns from 10 - 12 June 2013 celebrating 31 years of walking Chichester Harbour.
Over three consecutive days, walkers will be able to enjoy excellent views, good company and great walking around Chichester Harbour. The three walks follow shoreline footpaths and include stops at picturesque harbour villages. Led by guides with an extensive knowledge of the area, the walks are between 10 – 12 miles each.
As all the walks are linear, a coach takes participants to the start point each morning. Most lunch breaks are at harbour sailing clubs and each day includes a break for coffee and cake so walkers can relax and enjoy the views.
Judi Darley who has organised the Festival says, ‘we have moved the date to June this year so hopefully we can welcome more new walkers to the Festival. This is always an enjoyable event and makes a great introduction to Chichester Harbour’.
