DreamFest, the fun-packed family festival weekend, is back for 2013.
Sussex family festival, DreamFest at The Mac’s Farm in Ditchling, is back for 2013, taking place on 27th and 28th July. The summer weekend festival features talented local bands and singers, including The Overtones, Red Emperor and The Crossroads Band. Also playing will be a String Quartet from Covent Garden and visitors will be able to enjoy the attractions of The Harris Bros vintage funfair.
It’s a great family day out, taking place on an organic free range egg farm that provides an idyllic backdrop to the festival in the East Sussex countryside. All ticket sales will go to children’s charity Dreams Come True, helping terminally and seriously ill children fulfil their dreams.
Saturday 27th July opens from 11am to 8pm - with music acts, the vintage funfair, plenty of food and refreshments including a hog roast, cream teas and a local beer and drinks tent. Tickets for Saturday 27th go on sale from 1st June and cost £5 per person or £15 for a family ticket of 2 adults and 2 children. Under 3s go free. Tickets can be purchased from the Dreams Come True website. Tickets are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
Sunday 28th July is a more relaxed day, starting at 11am and finishing at 3pm. There will be a local Farmer and Craft Market and a farm trail giving guests the opportunity to pick their own eggs and plenty of food and refreshments on offer.
Sunday Entrance is only a £1 donation to Dreams Come True.
All monies raised from ticket sales will be going towards the charity, which over the last two decades has made dreams come true for more than 5000 children across the UK.
