Sussex based ZigZag cycling has launched a short holiday for leisure cyclists looking to complete the South Downs Way over a few days, with really comfortable stays in relaxing, high quality, quiet hotels along the way.
Mike Porteous said: "The South Downs Way is a wonderful must-do cycling experience, covering 100 miles of spectacular views and lovely countryside. It requires a reasonable level of fitness, though the pace will be within the capabilities of most riders and we build in stops, including to visit attractions and sites of special interest along the way.
By spreading our effort over one moderate half day, two longer days and one final short half day we can make the experience unhurried and enjoyable. And we are toward the luxury rather than the roughing it end of things when it comes to overnight stays and meals. Each hotel has its unique character and is steeped in history, offering a quiet peaceful chance to relax and a genuinely friendly welcome."
Travel 100 miles over four days starting in Winchester and finishing at iconic beach Head, outside Eastbourne. More information and booking details available at ZigZag Cycling website.
