Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 June 2012
Open: 10.00am - 5pm
Condiments, artisan cheeses, home cured and fresh meat, dairy products, confectionary, bakery, wine, beer and other drinks, together with cookware and other related products – the first Petworth Food Festival is attracting a huge range of products.
Food and cookery demonstrations from the Events Show Kitchen showcasing local and other chefs as well as wine and beer tasting sessions will add to a really good weekend for everyone from the amateur enthusiast through to the most sophisticated gastronome. And the show is also supporting, and is supported by, British Food Fortnight.
Show Organiser Emma Owen, Director of Oakleigh Fairs says:
‘We are delighted to be returning to Petworth for the second year – it is such a fantastic setting – we scouted for over a year for the perfect venue for a food-led event in the Region, and after the success of the show last year we feel we certainly picked the right one - Petworth is ideal.
From the twenty or so shows we run over the year, one thing that has become increasingly apparent is that people are fascinated by food; so many of us are concerned about food miles and traceability these days and more and more of us are turning to ‘Real Food’. We hope this event is a showcase for anything foodie and is your chance to meet-the-maker’
There will also be a range of food related and other stalls including arts, craft and gift marquees
