It's January and the fairylights may be a distant memory but that's no excuse not to get out and about in Sussex. Two major visitor attraction have announced open days on Sunday 19th January 2014, when they are open to the public free of charge all day.
The Royal Pavilion, Brighton and Pallant House Gallery in Chichester invite you come and take a look around.
Brighton’s Royal Pavilion opens its doors for the annual People’s Palace Open Day. Queen Victoria sold the Royal Pavilion to the Corporation of Brighton (now Brighton & Hove City Council) for £50,000 in 1850. Free entry all day.
Pallant House invites all the family to enjoy the gallery's world class Collection. Take part in family-friendly fundraising activities as well as a creative drop-in session. Many current temporary exhibitions will be free to view. Open Day
