The unmistakable roar of a Ferrari engine will greet visitors to Arundel Castle on Sunday 02 September 2012.
A glamorous convoy of the powerful sports cars, owned by members of the Sussex Ferarri Owners Club, will be on show on the castle's lower lawns. As well as getting up close to these jewels of Italian motorsport, visitors may enjoy an airborne fly-past by the gems of the British aircraft industry including Spitfire, Hurricane and Lancaster planes, commemorating the Battle of Britain. The celebrated planes accounted for more than half of the RAF's victories in the 1940 campaign.
Owners of the famous 'Prancing Stallions' will be on hand to discuss all things Ferrari with car enthusiasts. Models on show will span early classics to the latest and greatest sports cars to be found worldwide.
The display of supercars by the Sussex Ferrari Owners Club takes place at Arundel Castle from 1pm with The Battle of Britain fly-past scheduled for around 3:10pm, subject to operational conditions.
