The Spread Eagle Hotel has been welcoming guests for over five hundred years, built in 1430, and is situated in the medieval heart of the ancient town of Midhurst.
Evidence of its history abounds with stained glass windows, oak timber beams, large open fireplaces, panelled walls and four-poster beds.
Although much extended over the centuries, complete with a full service Health Spa, the hotel retains all the character and charm one would expect from one of England's oldest Inns.
From North - M25, then A3 to Hindhead, and then follow A286 to Midhurst. From south - Take the A286 from Chichester to Midhurst. The hotel is in South Street which is in the 'old' part of the town.
Chichester Railway Station about 12 miles away.
No 60 bus from Chichester serves Midhurst.
