The Boathouse Brasserie

Privately owned restaurant on the River Arun at the site of the ancient Houghton Wharf. The restaurant is full of charcter strewn with charts and maritime bric-a-brac. Weather permitting, one can enjoy a meal out on the open wooden deck or under the verandah. The attractive staff are friendly and attentive. The Carvery offers succulent roast meats on display but there is also a very fine selection of fresh fish- mostly local. The fixed price two and three course menus are very popular. Situated within a short distance of the South Downs Way.
