In the heart of the city, this fine Cathedral has been a centre of community life for more than 900 years and is the site of the Shrine of St Richard of Chichester. Its treasures range from Romanesque stone carvings to 20th Century works of art.
Regular art exhibitions, talks, lunchtime and evening concerts. All visitors are welcome to our daily services. Treasury and information desk are also located within the Cathedral. Guided tours also available, general or specialist (history, art, embroidery, stained glass ...) Please book in advance. Newly developed Cloister Cafe and Shop. Facilities available for those with disabilities. Parking nearby in the city and coach parks. Drop off point . Open summer: 7.15-19.00, winter 7.15-18.00.
Admission is free, suggested donations: Adults £5.00, Children £1.50
