A beautiful stone Jacobean almshouse built around a quadrangle. Founder's Dining Hall with hammerbeam roof and gallery, private chapel and residents' common room. Interesting traditional Sussex architecture, materials and furniture. It has housed old people from East Grinstead in tranquillity since 1619. The garden is in the process of being restored.
