VisitSussex News

www.visitsussex.org

The official Sussex Tourism web site continues to go from strength to strength. Supported by the trade, and be every local authority in Sussex, it has attracted 50% more visitors  in the 12 months to November 2009 than in the previous 12 months. Total visitors to the site are rapidly approaching 400,000 per Year.

Although every tourism business has a free entry on the site (subject to certain conditions) this relies on customers searching for you in your specific category. Now you can make your tourism establishment or facility more visible by taking advantage of our Promotional opportunities which are available at very reasonable rates.

Polling now live on www.visitsussex.org

www.visitsussex.org is one of the first destination web sites in Britain to have introduced Polling.

This means that if you are a visitor accommodation establishment which has signed up for on-line booking with your local destination or with one of VisitBritain’s commercial partners (e.g. Late Rooms; Superbreak) ,  your availability will be shown in real time in response to a customer search  and the customer will be given a choice of which booking agent to chose. It is then a simple and secure process for the customer to make the booking on the chosen agent's web site. Booking transactions take place locally and not directly on visitsussex.

To take advantage of this opportunity contact your Local Authority destination or Tourism manager, who will be able to explain how to get inviolved and sign you up Free of charge.*

* please note that bookings are commissionable.
