16th century house in quiet village location. Oak beamed rooms with inglenook fireplaces. Set in large gardens with ornamental trees, wildlife ponds and croquet lawn. Breakfasts using local and home grown produce served on the garden terrace in summer. Vegetarian/special diets available. Friendly pub/restaurant serving excellent food within walking distance. Close to Glyndebourne Opera House, Charleston, Lewes, South Downs and the coast with many places of interest nearby. Easy access to the countryside making it ideal for walkers and cyclists. A warm welcome to all, with French, German, Italian, Spanish and Greek spoken.

Road Directions
A23 follow signe to A27 past Falmer, Lewes, Glynde. Turn left signposted Ripe. Follow road into village, past Lamb Inn on right. Eckington House is opposite the Lamb in Ripe Lane.
From Uckfield take A22 towards Hailsham, turn right at Golden Cross signed to Ripe. Eckington House is just before the centre of the village on the left.
