Gillian, Paul and Nigel welcome all customers, old and new, to our 14th Century village coaching inn. Perfect for any occasion - log fires will greet you in the bar and our renowned restaurant provides an excellent selection of Sussex's finest fresh produce. Our ensuite accommodation with a choice of 15 rooms, (2 with four poster) has been awarded 4 diamonds and a Silver Award by Visit Britain. Our restaurant, with garden for 'al fresco' dining in the summer is very popular, so bookings always advisable. Ideal location within the South Downs AONB for a few days' stay to explore the Sussex countryside, historic towns and villages. From south take A27 to A29 North. Take B2138 (towards Petworth) to Fittleworth. From London M25 & A3 to Guildford By-pass then Milford & Petworth. Take A283 to Fittleworth. London/Dorking also via A29 South to Billingshurst, Pulborough then A283 to Petworth. Fittleworth village 3 miles from Pulborough station Victoria/Gatwick line.
